Land Magnetic Survey

Magnetometers are used to measure the magnetic field. For data acquisition, the surveyor needs to carry the instrument and walk along survey lines and data are recorded automatically. To ensure the accuracy of collected data, any objects such as watches and magnets that can influence the magnetic field should be removed from the surveyor before conducting the survey. A GPS device is also used to record the location and time of the surveyor during the survey.
