Seismic Mapping

Principle

Seismic mapping technology mainly utilizes the reflection of seismic waves to detect and analyze underground objects. Usually, seismic signal is triggered with a hammer and received with geophones. The data acquired with geophones with the same offset are combined to identify and analyze the underground objects.
